WILDLIFE

Enjoy the local flora & fauna the area has to offer

Much of the local wildlife and natural habitat in and around the local area is looked after by the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust - one of forty six (46) wildlife trusts throughout the country.

It was founded in 1968 to conserve, protect and restore the county's wildlife. The trust owns and manages over seventy (70) nature reserves across the county totaling approximately two thousand (2,000) acres. By working with other land owners, managers and communities, the Trust aims to restore, recreate and reconnect fragmented natural habitats to achieve a landscape where wildlife can flourish.

Some of the Trust's nature reserves include; Chaddesley Woods, The Christopher Cadbury Wetland Reserve, Trenchwood and Wilden Marsh.
